People Embrace Outline Illustration

Our mission here at VP Moves is for all individuals to have opportunities to experience the joy of movement, fitness, and recreation whether in an individual session or a group class. A few benefits of being physically active are improved memory and brain function, weight management, reduction in anxiety and depression, self-esteem building, cardiorespiratory and muscular

fitness, and promoting better sleep.

VP Moves uses a personal based approach that builds upon each individual's strengths and abilities.

We are dedicated to helping every body be able to move and enjoy fitness. As a retired adapted physical education teacher of 30+ years, Vicki Pauley has the expertise and passion to create fitness for all.

Vicki Pauley

Founder & Teacher

A little bit about myself - my love of fitness started in junior high school as we focused on preparing for the Presidential Fitness competition. The messages of doing your best and challenging yourself to set goals and improve was highly motivating. I think everyone should have the opportunities to be involved in physical activities that are fun and want you to be your best self! I have been an athlete all of my life, competing in cross country and track & field during high school and continuing into college at University of Dayton. I have taught Adapted Physical Education (APE) and Physical Education for the last 30+ years. I have my 200 hour RYT yoga certification and Autism Exercise Specialist, ACSM certification. Currently, I’m also an instructor at the Kettering YMCA, teaching Kids Yoga & Adult Gentle Yoga. In my free time, I love exercising, walking, hiking, backpacking, spending time with my family, yoga, pilates, and reading.

I cannot wait to share my love of movement with your family.

"Vicki Pauley of VP Moves LLC will facilitate your fitness and recreation goals using her knowledge, enthusiasm and many years of experience of working with children and young adults with a variety of disabilities. Vicki has been a friend and colleague of mine for the past 11 years. We've worked very closely together since we are both gross motor specialists. She is dedicated to the students that she works with, always coming up with creative ways to make exercising fun. In both personal and professional realms, Vicki is a leader and go-getter. Not only has she worked with students daily, she volunteers at other special needs events - including Joy Ride, Night to Shine, and dance classes. Vicki is dependable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic with many years of experience in working with children and young adults with a variety of disabilities."

"Vicki does a great job working with people with a variety of developmental levels and needs. She can do it all; from preschool to high school and beyond! Her lessons are engaging and centered on the individual she is working with. She is a positive influence on the people she works with, not just in developing their motor skills, but also as a caring, optimistic, and supportive adult in their life. "
